Building on 2013 findings that demonstrate that eight new routes to emerging markets alone would generate as much as £1 billion a year in trade, the organisation has issued a report highlighting that by drawing on both transfer passengers and local populations, hub airports are best placed to act as a catalyst for these new routes.

Montego Bay welcomes renovated Cultural Centre

By Breaking Travel News Montego Bay, the second city of Jamaica, now has a Cultural Centre, as the facility was officially opened in Sam Sharpe Square. Formerly the Montego Bay Civic Centre, the facility has undergone major refurbishing, courtesy of the Tourism Enhancement Fund. The centre houses an art gallery, a museum, a space for the performing arts, a bistro, an artisan village and a gift shop.
