International Mediterranean Tourism Market headed for Israel

IMTM is the official tourism exhibition for the Mediterranean travel trade market and an opportunity for travel and tourism professionals to meet with buyers, suppliers and consumers from across the globe.

Brecon Gaer Roman Fort

Remains of an early Roman fort, also known as Y Gaer, begun about 75 AD near the River Usk. The perimeter wall with corner turrets is still preserved, and the gateways still show the holes where the gate-pivots hung. Finds from Brecon Gaer can be viewed at the Brecknock Museum in Brecon.

Stagecoach and Virgin joint venture awarded East Coast mainline contract

By Breaking Travel News A joint venture between Stagecoach Transport and Virgin Rail has been awarded the franchise for the East Coast mainline. The firms have agreed to invest £140 million in the route over eight years, and will pay the government £3.3 billion for the contract. The deal will be finalised pending the successful completion of a standstill period of at least ten days.
