The fires in the Cape have destroyed more than 4 000 hectares of vegetation so far, the City of Cape Town said on Wednesday. Together with the City, volunteers, communities as well as
fire fighters from elsewhere in South Africa are working to combat the furious blaze devastating the
Southern Peninsula.
